Hampton Festival

Held each year in May, Hampton Festival showcases the local produce of this high country area 32 kilometres north of Toowoomba. In 2024 the festival is changing things up, presenting for the very first time a Farm 2 Fork dining experience. The full day experience starts with a tour of the High Country's finest farms before a four-course lunch served by chef Alastair McLeod.

The 20-year-old festival is a mix of food, art and culture that celebrates the region’s natural autumn beauty. Expect hands-on food and art workshops, dinner events and farm tours. You’ll find the festival event in Chapman Park under majestic Blue Gum trees. Dedicated to showcasing local growers’ produce, the Growers On The Green precinct is a great place to meet and interact with regional farmers, hear their stories and experience product demonstrations. Hampton Festival is a one-hour, 45-minute drive from Brisbane west on the Warrego Highway. Turn right at Blacksoil onto the Brisbane Valley Highway and then left onto the Esk-Hampton Rd for a scenic drive up the range. Drive from the Sunshine Coast via Beerwah, Kilcoy and Esk and enjoy the climb up the range to Hampton.

Guru Tip
