Condabilla Fish, Chinchilla - Try farm-fresh Murray Cod

Seafood connoisseurs are so impressed by the Murray Cod produced at Condabilla Fish they describe them as the wagyu of the sea. From sashimi through to open coals, versatile Murray cod fillets have exquisite taste and amazing texture. Located southwest of Chinchilla, Condabilla Fish is one of Australia’s most sustainable aquaculture enterprises. The operation was established by Rob and Tamara Bartley and produces a high-quality product using a unique farming system that mixes artisanal ideals with new technology. Their oversized ponds house embedded fish raceways while waste products are kept within the ecosystem and recycled by mother nature in other ponds. Farm group tours are available by appointment. You can buy this high-quality fish online with a farm gate pick-up. Chinchilla is a four-hour drive from Brisbane, heading west through Toowoomba and Dalby.
